  REMINDER - Students who walk home, ride their bikes, or who get picked up by their parents should not be leaving the school or their classrooms until the ALL CALL for student dismissal has been made.

Girl's Running Club:  Running Club will will meet again tomorrow after school until 4:00...all girl's are welcome!

Girl's Volleyball:  The first tryout will be after school this Thursday, September 29th until 4:30pm.  Please have your drives ready for this time!

Intramurals:  TODAY WILL BE GRADE 9 DAY IN THE GYM  AT SECOND HALF OF LUNCH!

Grade 8 Trip to the Oval:  Please get your permission forms in to Ms. Whyte or Ms. James asap

The Math Team will be providing extra help every Tuesday in room 302 and every Thursday in room 304 The Math Team will also be providing a space for students to meet as a Math Club in order to complete the Waterloo Math Contest in room 101 every Monday.

2741 Musquodoboit Harbour Royal Canadian Army Cadets will be accepting new Cadets on Wednesday, September 28th at Gaetz Brook Junior High School from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.

This is a FREE program and we supply the uniforms!

If you’re between the ages of 12-18 and are interested in becoming a Cadet, making new friends and having awesome opportunities come check us out! We offer Leadership skills, woods navigation and survival skills, camping, marksmanship and so much more.

We are very proud to say that 2741 is the largest Army Cadet Corps in Atlantic Canada!

For Cadets currently enrolled we will be starting back up on September 14th. Location and information will be passed on in call downs and also posted on our Facebook page.

The Deanery Project – September Activities
The Deanery Project, an arts and environmental Learning Centre in Lower Ship Harbour, will be offering a variety of youth programs during the 2016-17 school year. September activities include:

Youth Action Team Start-up of a Youth Action Team beginning in October. Leadership opportunities, youth-led community projects and fun social time!
