Guidance/Student Services News for all Grade 9 Students!
O2 Applications: All O2 Applications are due in to Ms. Smith's office on/before March 31st at 9am. Please see Ms. Smith if you need assistance filling it out.
Monday, March 9th, 2015, Mr. O’Malley will be coming to Gaetz Brook Junior High to talk with the grade nine students about course selection for 2015-16 school year. After this day, all grade nine students will meet with Ms. Smith to assist in this process. Please feel free to call Ms. Smith if you have any questions about course selection. Her office number is 827-4666 Ext 4.
Thursday, March 26th from 6:30 – 7:30 there will be a presentation in the gym at Eastern Shore District High School regarding course selection for future 2015-16 grade 10 students. At 7:30 there will be break-out sessions covering the following topics: French Immersion, Options and Opportunities Program , Skilled Trades program and Math.
The students will pick their courses on Power School March 30th 2015. Parents and students can make changes until April 1st, 2015.

GBJH school yearbooks will go on sale in a pre-order starting Wednesday, January 21st, for a cost of $25 paid in cash or cheque payable to GBJH to homeroom teachers. Pre-orders will be collected until April 23rd, 2015
If you do not pre-order, then your copy will not be created.

Ball Hockey: Semi-finals will be held today after school with Team Leal playing Team Crabbe AND Team DeJong playing Team Deveaux
Band Students: A reminder to all Band students that are going on the Musicfest trip that you must have your forms in to Mr. Forde by this Friday.
Yearbook: There will be a Yearbook Editor's Meeting afterschool on Friday until 4:45 pm.

Tuesday - Beach Day (we will be selling ice cream in the cafeteria at lunch)
Wed - Camo/Tie-Dye Day AND we are having a Celebration Breakfast!!!
Thursday - GBJH Gear/Colour Day (we will be selling popcorn and snow-cones in cafeteria)
Friday - Green Day or St. Patrick's DaY
*Hats can be worn all week as long as they fit the theme!!
